Pedal lebar, menambah akselerasi.
Jika Anda adalah biker offroad atau offroad, cobalah memakai pedal yang lebar/ besar. karena pedal tersebut menambah kenyamanan dan menambah akselerasi kinerja kaki kita untuk menggayuh. jika memakai pedal kecil, misalnya pedal XTR atau sejenis, tumpuan gayuhan kaki kita akan dipaksakan ke tengah telapak kaki. hal ini mengakibatkan kaki menjadi sakit karena menahan berat badan kita. pedal lebar ini sesuai digunakan untuk XC di medan berlumpur. karena tumpuan kaki akan lebih terasa nyaman dan kaki penuh menginjak pedal.
tetapi, ada baiknya kita juga memakai sepatu yang beralas tebal dan bertekstur kasar untuk menghindari jatuh dari sepeda karena medan yang licin.
